Kirvi vest knitting pattern for adults

Materials

Navia Fípa, Drops Melody or other yarn with the same weight (Aran). This slipover is knitted top-down. One 40 cm and One 60 cm long circular needles size 5 mm and 7 mm. Wool or tapestry needle. Stitch holders or scrap yarn.

Tension
12 sts and 20 rounds per 4 inches (10 cm) knitted in the round on needle 7 mm in stockinette stitch. Adjust needle size if necessary, to obtain correct tension.

Construction details
This slipover is knitted from top to bottom. Knit the back piece back and forth, and then knit the left and right shoulder onto the pack piece cast-on edge. Then finish knitting the front piece back and forth and finish knitting the body around. Knit the neckline and the armhole edges at the end.

Yarn yardage requirements and sizes
Each skein of 50 g has a length of 90 meters / 98 yards. The slipover is meant to have a positive ease of about 2 inches (5 cm). These are actual slipover measurements:
