Stunning Fair Isle Sweater for women. Pattern is in US/UK and danish language, two pdf files.

The Akraberg sweater is inspired by an old Faroese Shawl pattern. I used Fair Isle instead of the original lace pattern and did some minor adjustments to the pattern. The sweater has its name Akraberg after a very beautiful place in Suðuroy in the Faroe Islands.

This is an icelandic style yoke, knitted from bottom up.

Sizes
To fit bust XS (32”), S (36”), M (39”), L (44”), XL (47”), XXL (50”).

Finished sizes
In pictures is shown a size XS. The sweater has about 4” / 10 cm of positive ease.

XS: Chest circumference of sweater: 90 cm (36”).

S: Chest circumference of sweater: 100 cm (40”).

M: Chest circumference of sweater: 108 cm (43”).

L: Chest circumference of sweater: 118 cm (48”).

XL: Chest circumference of sweater: 128 cm (51”).

XXL: Chest circumference of sweater: 135 cm (54”).

Gauge
14 sts and 22 rows per 10 cm (4”) knitted in the round on needle size 6 mm (US 10). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Yardage
XS: 300 g (495 m) 540 yards of bc and 100 g (165 m) 180 yards of cc.
S: 350 g (578 m) 630 yards of bc and 100 g (165 m) 180 yards of cc.
M: 400 g (660 m) 720 yards of bc and 100 g (165 m) 180 yards of cc.
L: 450 g (742 m) 810 yards of bc and 150 g (248 m) 270 yards of cc.
XL: 500 g (825 m) 900 yards of bc and 150 g (248 m) 270 yards of cc.
XXL: 550 g (908 m) 990 yards of bc and 150 g (248 m) 270 yards of cc.
